In order to guarantee ownership of activities, NCDO South Sudan uses participatory approaches when designing development projects and programmes. The projects are designed with the involvement of the local community, stakeholders, and local authorities, to ensure sustainability. NCDO South Sudan strategic approach is focused on capacity building, advocacy and service delivery. With this in mind, and utilizing nights – based approach, we work extensively with civil society actors and community based groups, utilizing participatory tools and communication for social change. We confer with and engage people actively as agents of their own change, equip them to voice their concerns, and facilitate and support dialogue between them and duty.
NCDO has developed key processes for accomplishing client satisfaction and operational excellence by building competent and committed human resources, maximizing use of appropriate information and technology, and creating a pleasant organizational climate where NCDO’s beliefs and values are reflected.
