Strategic Statement

NCDO South Sudan’s programme targets the most vulnerable in its efforts to alleviate poverty, distress and disadvantage by empowering South Sudanese civilian population to transform their communities with locally driven solutions to local problems, through our integrated multi sectoral programmatic strategy consisting of Advocacy, Capacity Building, and Service Delivery through the use of Communication for Social Change approach.

Strategic Approach

NCDO South Soudan aligns all development activities to South Sudanese national priorities that contribute to the alleviation of poverty, recovery and reintegration, increase of education and decrease of gender inequity. In order to guarantee ownership of activities, NCDO South Sudan uses participatory approaches when designing development projects and programmes. The projects are designed with the involvement of the local community, stakeholders, and local authorities, to ensure sustainability. NCDO South Sudan strategic approach is focused on capacity building, advocacy and service delivery. With this in mind, and utilizing nights – based approach, we work extensively with civil society actors and community based groups, utilizing participatory tools and communication for social change. We confer with and engage people actively as agents of their own change, equip them to voice their concerns, and facilitate and support dialogue between them and duty.

Quality Assurance

NCDO has developed key processes for accomplishing client satisfaction and operational excellence by building competent and committed human resources, maximizing use of appropriate information and technology, and creating a pleasant organizational climate where NCDO’s beliefs and values are reflected.
The impact of NCDO South Sudan Programme Strategy will utilise the balanced scorecard method, with the participation of internal human resources, beneficiaries, stakeholders, and donors.
